April is National Minority Health Month. Jackson Health System and its community partners take pride in supporting the health of our community.

We are making it easy for Miami-Dade residents to stay on track with their health goals by hosting a Spring Health and Wellness Fair. Free adult health screenings will be offered, including glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure, and body mass index (BMI).

Activities for the entire family include talent performances, a kiddie village, a job fair, a farmers’ market, safety and prevention resources, and music by DJ Hercules from 99 JAMZ.

Jackson, along with Miami-Dade County Commission Chairman Jean Monestime, and Miami-Dade Commissioners Audrey Edmonson and Barbara Jordan, invite the public to this free event.

When: April 18, 2015, 9:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.

New Jerusalem Primitive Baptist Church
777 N.W. 85th Street
Miami, FL 33150
