Jackson Health System is open for business and operating as usual.
Creole and Spanish interpreters are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to facilitate communication in person and via telephone between our healthcare personnel and non-English-speaking patients. Language Line interpreters can assist via telephone in over 150 languages, also on a 24-hour, seven-day basis.
We provide sign language interpreters through contracted agencies for our deaf/hard-of-hearing patients. Additionally, Deaf Talk, an audio-visual conferencing interpreting system, is available in the Emergency Care Center and Labor & Delivery units.
