Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite
Jackson North Medical Center was nationally recognized for achievement in the Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite Campaign.
That’s good news for us… and even better news for you.
Because it means we put American Heart Association and American Stroke Association expertise to work providing stroke care that’s prompt and consistent with up-to-date scientific guidelines.
It’s news that might not make the front page, but it might make a difference in your life.
According to the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, stroke is the No. 5 cause of death and a leading cause of adult disability in the United States. We are committed to quality stroke care and aim to speed recovery and reduce death and disability for stroke patients.

Congratulations are in order for Jackson North Medical Center! JNMC earned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's ENERGY STAR certification, which signifies the building performs in the top 25 percent of similar facilities nationwide for energy efficiency. It also meets strict energy efficiency performance levels set by the EPA. Jackson North is 1 of only 3 hospitals in the state with this designation and 1 of 43 nationwide.
Mammography Accredited Facility
The American College of Radiology recognizes breast imaging centers that achieve excellence by seeking and earning accreditation in all of the ACR’s voluntary breast imaging accreditation programs and modules. The Mammography Accreditation Program provides the department with a certificate that identifies them as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. The mammography unit undergoes an evaluation by a qualified medical physicist. This evaluation is an acceptance test; it evaluates different features in addition to those tested as part of the medical physicist’s annual QC survey. This evaluation must be done, with all problems fixed before equipment can be used on patients. All Radiologist and Mammogram Technician credentials are also evaluated by the American College of Radiology. We are fully accredited in Mammography by the ACR.
